We will be at the British Juggling Convention 2008 With the Big top and our Cornish Crew 26th –30th March.
The
British Juggling Convention is a yearly gathering of all kinds of circus
performers, from hobbyists to professional performers, from jugglers to
balloon modellers and unicyclists. Some people come hoping to learn new
skills or polish old ones.
Many
people come to chill out in a juggly atmosphere, and enjoy the various
shows and entertainment. In addition to all the usual events, this
year the BJC is proud to be hosting the very first British Kendama
Championships.

Circo Kernow is coming to the end of its current funding and will continue to grow and evolve over the next few years. We want to thank everyone who has been involved so far and to invite you to a celebration of everyone's hard work. The proposed date is the 19th of April, watch this space for confirmation and more details.

This is a skills swap and training session for people with some aerial experience.

/ £5 per 2 hour session. £4 for CK trainees
pay up front £21 for the first 6 weeks making
it only £3.50 per session.
[After
this period it will cost £20 for membership plus the fee.]

work. This is a great opportunity for you to bring your skills
and expertise to a vibrant community circus project. Help us to
carry on making a difference. We are especially interested in
talking to people with experience in the arts , education ,
accounting, fundraising and human resources.

CIRCUS CLASSES AT CIRCO KERNOW
2008
NCFE Level 2 in Performance Skills Circus Arts,
will be running in Camborne in the new year. It provides opportunities for developing your skills, supported research into the industry and performing to the public at our end of term show, and its FREE!
Past students have gone on to work professionally with Swamp Circus, teach their skills to others, and continue their study at institutions around the country. We are now also offering membership to our agency, free to our graduates, to help you get started.
The NCFE (National Certificate of Further Education) course is 2 days per week for 8 weeks and is assessed by Cornwall College.
We also offer The Arts Award which can be completed over a longer period or at times to suit you.
We can help if you need support or funding.
